Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and guide them through menu options with enthusiasm and detailed knowledge of offerings.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation, food safety, and cleanliness.
- Manage cash handling, cashiering duties, and processing payments accurately with POS systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including bar stations and dining spaces, adhering to food handling and safety regulations.
- Assist in setting up banquet events or catering functions when needed, ensuring smooth operations from start to finish.
- Engage with customers actively to promote sales opportunities and enhance their overall experience in a nightclub or fine dining setting.
Qualifications
- Prior restaurant or food service experience is required; fine dining or banquet experience is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; retail math skills are a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently during busy hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest loyalty.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling procedures, and alcohol service regulations.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, billing, and sales transactions.
- Experience working in nightlife venues or breweries is beneficial; catering or banquet experience is a plus.
