Overview:

The Bulfinch Group is expanding our Talent Acquisition team and looking for a motivated individual to join us as an Associate Recruiter. This role is an entry level/early career position. This position will be responsible for assisting the Talent Acquisition team to source candidates for the Financial Advisor role, lead college recruiting, drive internal recruiting initiatives, and more. This candidate will maintain responsibilities throughout multiple steps of our interview process, and drive continuous improvement within our Talent Acquisition Department.


Requirements:

The ideal candidate is someone who:

  • College degree in Communications, Business, or similar preferred; would consider equivalent work experience
  • Experience in the Financial Services industry would be a bonus
  • Demonstrated networking skills, and ability to drive lead generation
  • Experience with leveraging sourcing platforms preferred (Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow through skills
  • 1-3 years of professional experience; experience within recruitment, sales, or similar field preferred
  • Ability to be in-person in our Needham office 3-4 days per week
  • Must be a US citizen or permanent resident


Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing potential Financial Advisor hires through leveraging both personal and impersonal sources, including but not limited to: Centers of Influence, such as friends, colleagues, family members, community groups, and more; Career Fairs; Job boards and job advertisements (Indeed, LinkedIn, Handshake, etc.)
  • Strong focus on college-level recruiting, building relationships with local schools, attending campus events, managing intern/graduate-level pre-screens and interviews, and more.
  • Spearhead the on-boarding process, serving as the liaison for new financial advisors with our firm, ensuring they are licensed and ready to go for their start dates.
  • Own and lead recruiting initiatives with the Leadership team, including monthly recruiting sessions.
  • Gathering and delivering weekly market intel emails to the firm Leadership team to keep them in the loop on market trends, recruiting tips, and more.
  • Generate and execute marketing ideas focused on recruiting.
  • Attend weekly recruiting meeting, make recommendations and advise of recruit status.
  • Attend recruiting and training conferenced/teleconferences and implement new ideas.
  • Various additional team support duties as needed.
