Janitorial Utility Cleaner

• Pay: $16.00 per hour
• Location: William Peace College, 15 E. Peace St, Raleigh, NC 27604 | 100% On-Site
• Schedule: Monday – Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (Summer Schedule until July 31st: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM)

What You’ll Do As our Janitorial Utility Cleaner, you will handle the specialized, heavy-duty upkeep that keeps our college campus looking beautiful and running safely. Our Floor Technicians handle the projects that make a big impact. In this versatile role, your daily tasks as a campus Custodian will include:

• Sweeping, mopping stairwells, scrubbing floors, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning restrooms.
• Emptying indoor and outdoor trash receptacles around campus.
• Handling pressure washing for buildings, concrete walkways, storm drains, and ditches.
• Moving furniture and helping with event setups and breakdowns.
• Operating a campus golf cart safely to transport tools and materials.

What You Bring To The Team

• Experience: 1–3 years of professional cleaning, utility, or floor-care experience.
• Credentials: A valid Driver's License is strictly required to operate our on-site golf carts.
• Physicality: Strong physical endurance and the ability to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliability: Great attendance and adaptability for both our standard evening shift and the adjusted summer hours.
