What You'll Do
As our Landscape Operations Manager, you will be the driving force behind our field operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading Your Team: You'll hire, train, and supervise foremen and laborers, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to succeed. You'll also conduct performance reviews and manage crew assignments and schedules to maximize efficiency.
- Managing Operations: You'll be responsible for the details, from monitoring tool and supply inventory to coordinating equipment maintenance and truck inspections. You'll make sure all maintenance guidelines are followed and take pride in the quality of every property.
- Building Relationships: You'll be the face of the company for our clients, meeting with property managers and customers to ensure their needs are met. Your customer-centric approach will be key to maintaining excellent relationships.
- Driving Sales: You'll play a crucial role in growing the business by identifying and proposing enhancement sales opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have a proactive, hands-on approach and a knack for problem-solving. We require:
- A minimum of a two-year degree or three years of experience in the landscape maintenance field.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- A valid SC pesticide license.
- The ability to manage people, work with customers, and handle the daily details of a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfort with physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs regularly and being outdoors in various weather conditions.
