We're looking for an adaptable and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Flex Team Member (floating cleaner). In this crucial role, you'll be the go-to support for our cleaning operations, stepping in to cover shifts at various client locations due to last-minute absences and tackling unique special cleaning projects. Details:

• Location: we're looking for floating cleaners in three different areas of the school district: Indian Land, Buford, and Kershaw
• Pay: $16.00 per hour
• Hours: Monday - Friday, exact hours may vary depending on the need, but aiming to be around 11:00am - 7:30pm

What You'll Do (Responsibilities):

• Cover Call-Outs: Travel to different schools within the designated service area to perform standard cleaning and janitorial duties when regular staff are absent.
• Execute Special Projects: Handle non-routine, deep-cleaning tasks such as floor stripping and waxing, high-dusting, carpet shampooing, post-construction cleanup, window washing, and pressure-washing.
• General Cleaning: Perform all standard cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, trash removal, restocking supplies, and sanitizing restrooms and common areas.
• Quality Control: Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standard, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
• Flexibility: Be ready to work a varied schedule, based on call-out needs and project timelines.

What You'll Need (Qualifications):

• Proven Experience: 1 year of professional cleaning, janitorial, or housekeeping experience is preferred.
• Reliable Transportation: Mandatory due to the need to travel to multiple locations on short notice.
• Adaptability: Ability to quickly learn new site layouts, client-specific instructions, and cleaning requirements.
• Physical Stamina: Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift (up to 50 lbs.), and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Attention to Detail: A meticulous and thorough approach to cleaning and sanitation.
• Dependability: Excellent attendance and punctuality are essential for this critical coverage role.
• Communication: Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and report any issues clearly and promptly.
• Experience with Special Equipment: Familiarity with heavy-duty cleaning equipment (e.g., floor buffers, carpet extractors) is a strong plus.
