The Buckeye Law Group, a dynamic and rapidly growing personal injury law firm, seeks a highly motivated and passionate Medical Malpractice Attorney to join our team in Cleveland.
Role: In this role, you will see that our clients receive the best care and obtain excellent results. Attorneys are expected to meet with clients to discuss their case, show compassion and empathy, and demonstrate an ability to earn their trust, confidence, and respect. They will also update clients and communicate with insurance companies from time to time regarding the status of claims, demands, and offers.
Chief Responsibilities:
- Lead the litigation process for assigned cases.
- Drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings, drafting and arguing motions.
- Conduct depositions.
- Manage all aspects of trial preparation including witness preparation, evidentiary analysis and strategy development.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external experts.
- Exercise a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Additional duties as assigned by management.
Experience/Requirements:
- Medical malpractice experience required minimum 5 yrs.
- Strong proficiency in discovery practice with proven track record.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and writing skills.
- Exceptional research and analytical writing skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and adeptness in trial preparation.
Licensure:
- Must be currently licensed in the state of Ohio and in good standing.
