Job Description:
We are hiring independent delivery drivers for Lowe’s on-demand residential home deliveries across Long Island.
Drivers pick up pre-staged orders from Lowe’s and deliver directly to local homes. Deliveries are typically within a 10-mile radius of the pickup location. Work availability varies based on demand.
Drivers who accept and complete more loads are more likely to receive additional delivery opportunities.
Lowe’s Pickup Locations:
- Garden City
- Hicksville
- Farmingdale
- Bay Shore
- Commack
- Medford
- Stony Brook
- East Patchogue
Items You May Handle: Sheetrock Heavy; home-improvement items; Large toolboxes; Grills and similar bulky items (Some items weigh up to 180 lbs)
Equipment Recommended: Small dolly or hand truck strongly recommended
Vehicle Requirements:
- Cargo van (preferred)
- SUV
- Pickups
Driver Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Insured vehicle
- Smartphone
- Ability to safely lift, move, and deliver items up to 180 lbs
- Reliable and professional
