Broad Function
The Overhead Recruiter is responsible for performing full cycle recruiting for Brock overhead positions, including candidate sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews and communicating offers. This position is focused on effectively and efficiently recruiting qualified candidates to meet the needs of the hiring manager and will fit the Brock Bbest culture.
Essential Functions
- Promote, demonstrate, and instill Brock’s Bsafe and Bbest culture in all aspects of the business
- Post new positions and work with the Marketing department to create flyers and social media postings as needed
- Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a candidate pipeline
- Screen candidates using phone screening, interviews, assessment tools, etc.
- Present qualified candidates to hiring manager for review
- Inform applicants of the organization’s employment policies as part of the screening process
- Process application forms within the Applicant Tracking System
- Maintain applicant and candidate workflow within the Applicant Tracking System
- Assist with job fairs, employee referrals, and advertising
- Conduct request for references from candidate present and past employers
- Work with hiring manager and compensation team to define offer package
- Communicate, negotiate, and close offer with candidate and hiring manager
- Handle all pre-boarding activities, such as scheduling drug screenings and background checks, ensuring completion of I9, and sending onboarding checklist to hiring manager
- Close filled requisitions in Applicant Tracking System
- Understand and adhere to all laws and regulations pertaining to the hiring process
- A ttend and participate in job fairs and recruiting events
- Track, monitor and report on status of open positions keeping hiring managers and leadership apprised of status
Working Conditions
- Working in an office environment
- Utilization of Personal Protective Equipment as necessary
- Some travel may be required

- Ability to communicate and collaborate with leaders and employees across the company
- Knowledge of Brock services and companies
- Take proactive action when necessary to maintain progress in recruitment / onboarding of candidates
- Good interpersonal skills to communicate with and recruit candidates for open positions
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner, verbally and in writing
- Self-motivated with high energy to network and find / recruit qualified candidates
- Strong organizational skills with ability to effectively manage multiple projects
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Applicant Tracking Systems
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent work experience in a related field is preferred
- 10 years Recruiting and Onboarding experience
- Knowledge of sourcing techniques using social media
- Experience using LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook to identify and engage with talent
- Applicant Tracking System experience is recommended
- Experience in the Construction industry or similar industries
