The Recruiter Assess candidates' skills, experience, and relevant knowledge and compare them to job requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Identifying future hiring needs and developing job descriptions and specifications.
- Collaborating with department managers to compile a consistent list of requirements.
- Attracting suitable candidates through databases, online employment forums, social media, etc.
- Assess candidates' skills, experience, and relevant knowledge and compare them to job requirements.
- Conducting interviews and sorting through applicants to fill open positions.
- Assessing applicants' knowledge, skills, and experience to best suit open positions.
- Completing paperwork for new hires.
- Promoting the company's reputation and attractiveness as a good employment opportunity.
- External calls and searches.
- Managing internship and Temp Staff programs.
- Providing recruitment reports to team manager
PREFFERED SKILLS:
- Have up-to-date knowledge on current employment legislation and regulations and enforcing them within the company.
- Must be able to communicate with others and teammates.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.

- Good decision-making skills.
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma & at least 5 years of forklift driver experience, or material movement experience with other types of Power Industrial Trucks (PITs).
- A bachelor's degree in human resources.
- The ability to conduct different types of interviews.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with recruitment processes and databases.
- The ability to design and implement recruiting strategies.
- A working knowledge of employment law and legislation.
Physical Demands
Frequently: Standing, Walking, Sitting, Handing, Finger movements, Reaching outward and above the shoulders.
Occasionally: Sitting, Climbing, Squat/Kneel, Lift/Carry up to 30lbs, Push/Pull 30lbs.
