Broad Function
The Inside Sales Specialist plays a key role in supporting sales development efforts within a designated territory or customer portfolio by collaborating closely with the sales team to understand customer-specific needs and identify potential sales opportunities. This position initiates calls to promote services, provide essential account management, and deliver tailored solutions that support revenue growth. The specialist also troubleshoots customer issues by identifying root causes and coordinating timely resolutions, ensuring a seamless and positive customer experience.
Essential Functions
- Promote, demonstrate and instill Brock’s B safe and B best culture in all aspects of the business
- Conduct customer prospecting by cold email and cold call to acquire new customers based on leads
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions and sales progress in the CRM system, tracking metrics to measure success
- Protect and grow the existing book of business being transferred to the Inside Sales
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Ensure customer satisfaction by coordinating with internal teams, principals, and clients to address needs and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Manages inbound and outbound phone calls professionally, efficiently and with good communication skills
- Attends to customer questions, complaints and concerns immediately, and facilitates satisfactory resolution
- Support Sales Managers in securing new business and expanding existing accounts
- Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion, etc.
- Analyze customer data to drive cross-sell and up-sell opportunities, increasing customer lifetime value
- Develop and maintain communication with sales team and operations management within the pre-award, award, and post-award activities
Working Conditions
- Working conditions include outdoor and indoor fields, yards and shop locations
- Working indoors in an office environment
- Utilization of Personal Protective Equipment is necessary
- Frequent travel as required
