What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Media Manager position at The BrightBrick Project?
Company Description
The BrightBrick Project is a youth-led nonprofit based in Birmingham, Alabama, dedicated to bringing joy, creativity, and encouragement to children in foster care. We collect and deliver new and gently used LEGO sets—each accompanied by a handwritten letter of encouragement—to remind every child that they are seen, valued, and not alone. Each set represents more than just a toy—it’s a message of hope, imagination, and a chance for kids to simply be kids. Our mission is to create big impacts through small gestures, building brighter futures one brick at a time.
Role Description
The BrightBrick Project is looking for a Social Media Volunteer to join our team! This is a remote, part-time volunteer position perfect for students or youth looking to build leadership and communication experience. In this role, you’ll help create and schedule posts, engage with followers, and brainstorm creative ways to share our mission online.
