What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dessert Plater / Assistant to Pastry Chef position at The Brewster Inn?
We are looking for an assistiant to our Pastry chef, to prepare food to the exact chef's specifications and to set up stations for menu. Duties will consist of making and plating breads and desserts for the restaurant. The restaurant is open from 5-9 pm daily and Sunday brunch 10:30-2 pm.
Responsibilities
Set up and stocking dessert station with all necessary supplies
Prepare food for service (e.g. Plating desserts and breads)
Bake bread and pies for both the restaurant and the market
Answer, report and follow Pastry chef's instructions
Clean up station and take care of leftover food
Stock inventory appropriately
Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
