What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Corporate Accounting Manager position at The Bolton Group?
We are currently partnering with a well-established regional real estate developer to identify a Senior Corporate Accounting Manager to join their team in the DFW area.
This is a high-impact role reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, offering strong visibility and leadership responsibility within a growing organization.
We’re open to two profiles:
- A strong public accounting (Big 4 or similar) Manager ready to transition into the industry
OR
- An industry accounting professional (homebuilding/construction experience preferred) stepping into a management role
Location
- Irving, Texas
- In-office 5 days/week
Compensation
- Base: $135K–$170K
- Bonus: 15%
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Accounting (required)
- CPA (strongly preferred)
- 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience
- 3 years of leadership experience
- Public accounting background strongly preferred
- Experience in residential construction/homebuilding is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee general ledger and accounting operations across multiple entities
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Manage audit processes and external relationships
- Drive process improvements, internal controls, and system optimization
- Partner with leadership on strategic initiatives
- Lead, mentor, and develop an accounting team
