Growing mid-sized manufacturer is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support its expanding manufacturing operations.
Position Highlights – Senior Accountant | Manufacturing & Operations
- Own key accounting functions including M/E close, G/L reconciliations, fixed assets, CAPEX, inventory, accruals, leases, intercompany accounting and financial reporting
- Serve as the key finance partner to cross-functional delivery teams throughout the capital project lifecycle and asset tracking.
- Analyze financial performance, costs and trends; identify opportunities for improved cost management
- Support annual financial statements, external audits, internal controls and compliance
- Help drive AI and automation initiatives to improve accounting processes and accelerate financial close
- Significant ownership and autonomy within a growing, entrepreneurial manufacturing environment
- Strong potential for career growth as the company continues to expand
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
- 3 years of U.S. GAAP accounting experience
- Manufacturing, industrial, biotech or other asset-intensive accounting experience strongly preferred
- Strong Fixed Asset and CAPEX experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Proficient in industry ERP systems (i.e., SAP, JDE, OneStream, HFM)
- Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership
- CPA, MAcc or MBA a plus!
