Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Vice President of Commercial Operations to help build and lead a growing commercial HVAC division. This role is ideal for someone with strong installation and operations experience who enjoys building processes, leading teams, and scaling a business.

You’ll work closely with ownership to drive growth, oversee project execution, and establish the foundation for long-term success across multifamily and commercial projects throughout the Southeast and nationwide.

What You’ll Do

• Lead estimating and pre-construction efforts, including site walks, scoping, and budgeting
• Oversee projects from handoff through completion, ensuring quality and timelines are met
• Build and manage subcontractor and vendor relationships
• Support business development efforts as the technical expert in client meetings
• Develop processes, SOPs, and operational workflows
• Help shape pricing strategy and service offerings
• Hire and mentor team members as the division grows

What We’re Looking For

• 10 years in mechanical contracting (commercial HVAC required)
• Strong experience with systems such as RTUs, VRF/VRV, chillers, boilers, BAS/controls, and ductwork
• Proven background in estimating and managing commercial projects
• Experience across multifamily, commercial, or industrial projects
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment
• Florida mechanical license (CMC) preferred
• Willingness to travel as needed

Compensation & Benefits

• $130K – $170K base salary (DOE)
