Responsibilities

- Manage inventory control, including ordering, receiving, and storing food products efficiently.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to ensure optimal performance and teamwork.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences.
- Plan and coordinate banquet services, ensuring seamless execution of events.
- Monitor food production processes to maintain quality standards and minimize waste.
- Engage with guests to enhance their dining experience through exceptional service.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Sous Chef or in a similar leadership role within the food industry.
- Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, menu planning, and food preparation methods.
- Experience in fine dining establishments as well as catering services is highly desirable.
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and best practices for cost control.
- Excellent communication skills to foster collaboration among kitchen staff and front-of-house teams.
