Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef / Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fine dining, catering, and food service management, with a proven track record of excellence in kitchen management and team leadership. This role requires creativity, dedication, and a commitment to food safety and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation.
  • Develop and execute innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting guest preferences.
  • Manage inventory control, including ordering, receiving, and storing food products efficiently.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to ensure optimal performance and teamwork.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences.
  • Plan and coordinate banquet services, ensuring seamless execution of events.
  • Monitor food production processes to maintain quality standards and minimize waste.
  • Engage with guests to enhance their dining experience through exceptional service.

Experience

  • Proven experience as an Sous Chef or in a similar leadership role within the food industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, menu planning, and food preparation methods.
  • Experience in fine dining establishments as well as catering services is highly desirable.
  • Strong supervisory skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and best practices for cost control.
  • Excellent communication skills to foster collaboration among kitchen staff and front-of-house teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45, $55,000.00 per year
