We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Assist with setting up tables, bussing, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Handle cash transactions accurately and perform cashiering duties with basic math skills
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address guest needs promptly
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and food safety protocols to answer guest questions confidently
- Support guest relations by providing excellent customer service, resolving issues professionally, and ensuring guest satisfaction
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest relations
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing time efficiently
- Experience in food handling, sanitation, and food safety standards
- Knowledge of food industry operations, including serving, bussing, and basic food preparation
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Previous restaurant experience, fine dining experience preferred but not required
- Ability to upsell menu items and utilize sales techniques to enhance guest experience
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, or holidays as needed; nightclub or host/host experience is a plus
