Position: Bartender / Cocktail Server
Description of Duties for Bartender:
• Is responsible for overall cleanliness and appearance of the bar area.
• Prepares beverages for servers and serves beverages to guests in a quick, efficient, friendly and professional manner.
• Multi-tasks several orders at once.
• Ensures that guests are served in accordance to State and local guidelines regarding the service of alcohol.
• Processes payments.
• Maintains inventory of the bar.
• Answers general customer inquiries as needed.
• All other duties assigned.
Description of Duties for Cocktail Server:
• Takes orders and serves beverage items to guests in a timely, friendly, enthusiastic and professional manner using suggestive selling techniques.
• Is able to take care of several orders at once.
• Describes all beverage items, prices and methods of preparation
• Controls guest checks to secure proper payment.
• Answers general customer inquiries as needed.
• All other duties as needed.
Qualifications
Work Requirements for Bartender:
• High School Diploma.
• 3 years of previous experience working as a Bartender.
• Must be able to obtain the appropriate state occupational license.
• Strong knowledge of alcoholic beverages.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Enthusiastic and energetic.
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Will be required to work a flexible schedule which includes nights, weekends and holidays.
Work Requirements for Cocktail Server:
• High School Diploma.
• 2 years of previous experience working as a Cocktail Server.
• Must be able to obtain the appropriate state occupational license.
• Strong knowledge of beverages both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.
• Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to lift trays of beverage items weighing up to 30 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis
• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours.
• Enthusiastic and energetic.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Will be required to work a flexible schedule which includes nights, weekends and holidays.
