Entry-Level Structural Engineer & Building Envelope Engineer

We are expanding our early-career team and seeking motivated engineers who want hands-on field experience, technical development, and exposure to both structural and building envelope consulting disciplines.
Position Overview
We are seeking an Entry-Level Structural Engineer & Building Envelope Engineer to support field inspections, technical reporting, and project coordination activities across a variety of building systems. This role offers exposure to both structural engineering and façade/building envelope consulting work, with mentorship from senior engineers and project managers.
Responsibilities
- Conduct field inspections of structural systems and building envelope components
- Document existing conditions using notes, photographs, sketches, and measurements
- Assist in identifying deficiencies, deterioration, and code compliance issues
- Support preparation of engineering reports and field documentation
- Assist with project coordination, scheduling, and internal meetings
- Review construction documents, drawings, and specifications under supervision
- Track project progress and maintain organized technical records
- Support change order and payment application review processes
- Participate in client meetings and prepare meeting minutes as needed
- Assist senior staff with technical analysis and engineering calculations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- 0–2 years of experience (internship experience accepted)
- EIT certification preferred or in progress
- OSHA-10 preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Interest in structural systems and/or building envelope consulting
- Ability to work in the field and travel to project sites
Work Environment
- Field and office-based role
- Exposure to active construction sites and exterior building conditions
- Requires walking, climbing, and occasional lifting up to 40 lbs
