What You'll Do
- Develop and deliver comprehensive SHE training programs for plant safety procedures and contractor requirements.
- Setup and optimize safety management systems, including hardware, software, data flow, and reporting mechanisms.
- Create and implement safety communication strategies to engage employees and contractors.
- Design and coordinate safety incentive programs to promote safety excellence.
- Lead the development of Waste Management, Environmental, and Industrial Hygiene plans for turnarounds.
- Review contractor safety plans and conduct risk analyses for specific jobs.
- Support the implementation of safety programs and compile SHE statistical reports.
- Act as a point of contact for Regional SSHE Advisors and support business line safety stewardship efforts.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures, practices, and compliance standards.
- Experience with safety management systems and communicating safety initiatives.
- Ability to develop and deliver engaging safety training.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze safety performance metrics.
- Experience in construction safety-related roles.
- Knowledge of waste management, industrial hygiene, and environmental plans.
- Prior experience supporting turnaround safety projects.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience within the oil and gas or construction safety sectors is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Valid driver's license; personal vehicle for work use with mileage reimbursed at GSA rates.
- Ability to work on-site in Williston, ND, or from Watford City, ND.
