Job Description:
The Behavior Specialist supports school teams by developing and implementing behavior interventions that promote student success. This role collaborates with educators, families, and related service providers to assess behavioral needs, provide staff training and coaching, monitor student progress, and ensure behavior support strategies are implemented consistently to foster safe, positive learning environments.
Essential Duties:
· Conduct and oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) using an interdisciplinary team approach.
· Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention strategies and positive behavior supports to promote student success and behavioral stability.
· Train, coach, and support staff in the implementation of behavior plans, crisis intervention strategies, and evidence-based behavioral practices while monitoring treatment fidelity.
· Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data to evaluate student progress, prepare reports, and make data-driven recommendations for program modifications.
· Provide clinical leadership and consultation by supporting Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) as applicable, and ensuring compliance with applicable behavioral, educational, and regulatory standards.

Pay: $67,372.00 - $89,829.00 per year
