The Market Café is looking to hire a friendly and reliable Barista/Café Supervisor that will get to know our members and all our regulars at Bellevue Club. This is a full-time, up to 40 hours per week, position. Barista experience is preferred, but not required. The Market proudly serves Cafe D'arte and on-going barista training is offered for all our baristas.

As a Barista/Cafe Supervisor, you will:
Model a “guest comes first” attitude, deliver excellence in customer service, and thrive in a collaborative, team environment.
Greet guests with a warm welcome and prepare beverage and food to order.
Maintain Grab & Go area as well as the display cases as needed.
Accurately operate the POS & mobile app system according to department guidelines.
Correctly pour and serve wine and beer.
Maintain in-depth understanding of the food and beverage program available at the espresso bar, as well as knowledge of the wine and beer offerings.
Clean and organize the bar area throughout your shift and ensures the equipment is in excellent condition daily.
Market and promote special items – (e.g. Coffee punch cards, new items, etc.)
Stock the espresso bar with all food and beverage items as well as side items, including cups, ice, napkins, straws, syrups, etc.
Demonstrate a high level of integrity, honesty, and knowledge to promote the mission of the Bellevue Club.
Help lead the Market Team in daily/weekly pre shift meetings.
Help in creating systems for the team to work together in a cohesive environment.
Help in creating and maintaining service standards in the Market and property wide.
Help in schedule writing for the rest of the team.
Help in creating and maintaining opening/closing procedures for the Market Café.
The ideal candidate:
Open availability and flexibility strongly preferred.
Must have a current, active Class-12 Washington State MAST Certification.
Washington State food handler's permit.
Experience mixing and serving espresso drinks preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, elevated service, team environment.
