What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista Team Member position at Café Opla?
Please note:
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE | If your only barista experience has only been at Starbucks, please know our operations and espresso machine completely differ from theirs and therefore that experience is not as important as someone who understands how to manually steam milk and pull shots.
AVAILABILITY | We unfortunately cannot accept any applicants who will be unable to work through September 7th. If you are returning to school before September 7th, we unfortunately will not be able to hire you as our staffing needs are reflective of the tourist season. Thanks for understanding!
Responsibilities as a Team Member:
- Barista – Craft espresso drinks, shaken tea and specialty beverages for customers with consistency and quickness
- Service – Provide friendly, exceptional customer service to all guests
- Food – Deliver food and drinks to dine-in guests using a tray
- Skills – Fast learner and ability to take constructive criticism, adaptable, flexible to help with cafe dishwashing, great team player.
- Barista experience is required
Job Types: Part-time
Pay: $23.00 – $27.00

Schedule:
- Shift Availability: 6:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
- Must be able to work 12-24 hours a week.
- Must be open both Saturday and Sunday.
Please Note:
- No parking is available M-F. Instead, street or garage paid-parking can be purchased.
- Free parking on weekends in cafe lot.
