Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Fulfillment Associate to join our small dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately picked, packed, and shipped to meet customer demands. This position requires a strong focus on safety and efficiency while adhering to company policies and procedures.
Duties
- Load and unload products from delivery trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Perform order picking tasks accurately, selecting items from inventory based on customer orders.
- Packing orders into cartons for shipping, ensuring that products are securely packed and organized.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to monitor stock levels and report discrepancies as needed.
- Handle materials with care, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Operate heavy equipment such as pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including proper storage of materials and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily fulfillment goals while maintaining high standards of quality.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and materials handling best practices.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent physical stamina with continuous standing and walking throughout the shift; must be able to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the shift.
- Computer skills including use of internet browsers, Gmail and Google Sheets is preferred.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards is desirable.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
