Duties
- Efficiently pick orders
- Pack items securely following packaging standards to prevent damage during transit
- Transfer packed orders to UPS or FedEx directly in person
- Load and unload shipments utilizing appropriate material handling equipment while adhering to safety protocols
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency in warehouse distribution activities
- Conduct quality control checks on picked items to ensure order accuracy before dispatching
- Follow safety procedures diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) during all tasks
Qualifications
- Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers preferred, with knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Strong manual handling skills with the capacity for heavy lifting when necessary
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately
- Familiarity with order picking, packing, shipping & receiving procedures, and inventory management systems
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and quality control standards are met
- Commitment to safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy
