Overview
International Logistics company is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associates to join a fast-paced logistics and freight operation base in Springfield Gardens, Queens (NY). This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term stability for candidates who demonstrate strong performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform cargo sorting, labeling, and general freight handling
- Assist with loading and unloading shipments
- Accurately process basic shipping and receiving documentation
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the warehouse floor
- Operate forklift equipment (where applicable)
- Utilize warehouse systems for basic data entry and tracking
- Follow all safety procedures and company protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior warehouse experience required
- Forklift experience required or strongly preferred
- Certification can be obtained or renewed if needed
- Experience handling freight, cargo, or logistics operations preferred
- Comfortable with basic computer use and data entry
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
