Schedule: Full-Time | 4pm-12am
Job Description
A well-established social services organization in the Bronx is seeking a reliable and professional Shift Supervisor to oversee daily operations within a residential setting. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term growth potential for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate will have prior supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to maintain a safe and structured environment while supporting both staff and residents.
Responsibilities
- Supervise staff during assigned shifts
- Ensure daily operations run smoothly and efficiently
- Monitor the safety and well-being of residents and staff
- Complete incident reports and shift documentation accurately
- Conduct shift rounds and enforce program policies/procedures
- Provide support and guidance to frontline staff
- Assist with crisis intervention and conflict resolution when needed
- Communicate important updates to management and incoming shifts
Qualifications
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience required
- Experience working in residential, shelter, healthcare, or social service settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations professionally
- Computer literacy and documentation skills required
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Flexible schedule availability preferred
