Site Coordinator- Health and Human Services
$19.20 per hour
Schedule: 35 hours per week
We are seeking an organized, compassionate, and detail-oriented Siter Coordinator to support a dynamic outreach and housing services team dedicated to helping individuals experiencing chronic homelessness secure permanent housing. This role serves as a key liaison between staff, clients, and the community while ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations across multiple program locations.
The ideal candidate is professional, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests, provide information, and direct visitors to appropriate staff
- Answer phones, route calls, and take messages
- Maintain petty cash, billing, check requests, and MetroCard distribution
- Maintain facility and staff activity calendars
- Track staff vacation schedules
- Keep updated vendor files and records
- Order, track, and maintain office and program supplies
- Maintain filing systems, including confidential client records and data
- Attend meetings and prepare meeting notes
- Coordinate events and office activities
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel with the ability to learn new software programs
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment serving diverse populations
- Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
- Valid NY, NJ, CT, or PA driver’s license with a good driving record preferred
