Sr. CNC Programmer/Engineering Technician
NE Dayton, OH
1st Shift
Key Requirements:
- Associates degree preferred
- Equivalent experience considered with 8 years of CNC machining and grinding
- “Hands on” experience specific to manufacturing processes, machine/tooling design, fixturing, CNC machining, and other machine shop practices
- Qualify new machines, tooling functionality and improvements projects
- Must have lean manufacturing concepts like 5S or lean certification with emphasis on successful continuous improvement initiatives
- Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Understanding of problem-solving tools such as cause & effect, design of experiment (DOE) and follow problem solving processes such as A3, DMAIC, or 8D preferred
- Knowledge of SPC, knowledge of standard manufacturing practices and processes
- Read and interpret drawings and demonstrate the ability to plan and execute experiments
- Results oriented, open to new ideas, show initiative, creativity and ability to learn quickly
- Self-starter who assumes ownership, and is highly functional in a cross-functional team
- Strong communication, organization, reporting and computer skills

Pay: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour
