Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers with the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Prepare and manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, meeting minutes, and closeout documents.
- Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project schedules.
- Track project costs, commitments, and progress while assisting with budget management and forecasting.
- Support procurement efforts by coordinating subcontractor agreements and material deliveries.
- Participate in project meetings and maintain accurate project documentation.
- Visit project sites as needed to monitor progress, quality, and coordination between office and field operations.
- Assist with project closeout, punch lists, warranty documentation, and owner turnover.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in commercial construction as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, or similar role.
- Experience working on hospitality, restaurant, retail, tenant improvement, commercial interiors, or other commercial construction projects is highly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with RFIs, submittals, change orders, budgeting, scheduling, and project documentation.
- Experience using Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Project is a plus.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail.
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
