FC Cincinnati is seeking an FCC2 Performance Analyst Intern within its Performance Analysis department, reporting to the Director of Player Pathway. In this internship you will learn and gain valuable experience in how performance analysis is used at the elite level, supporting FC Cincinnati 2 (MLS NEXT Pro). Based at the Mercy Health Training Center in Milford, Ohio. Up to 28 hours per week. This is an hourly paid internship and college credit is also available if needed.
What you'll do: Help drive the performance analysis provision; film FC Cincinnati 2 team or goalkeeping training when required; post-code FCC2 training sessions in line with FC Cincinnati club playing principles; post-code goalkeeper training in line with club position principles; post-code and label FCC2 games; assist in the production of opposition analysis (written and video based); complete individual research projects.
What you'll bring: Superb organisational skills; high level of attention to detail; ability to work unsocial hours including evenings and weekends; ability to work under pressure for long hours; represent FC Cincinnati's family-friendly brand in all capacities.
What you'll need: Strong technical and tactical soccer knowledge; soccer coaching qualifications (US Soccer D or equivalent); enrolled in a bachelor's degree program, preferably in Business, Sport Management or a related field.
