What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at The Ascent Group, Inc.?
Responsibilities:
· Prepare and inspect inbound and outbound shipments ensuring quality standards are maintained
· Inspect and record shipment contents using iPad
· Load and unload trucks
· Manage inventory
· Adhere to punctuality and safety standards
· Safely operate forklift to move inventory
· Maintain a clean and organized work area
· Other general warehouse duties
· Willingness to work overtime as needed
Qualifications:
· Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
· Reliable, flexible, hardworking, and trustworthy
· Must be able operate pallet jack, scissor lift and forklift
· Must be able to lift 75lbs and work in hot and cold temperatures
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Basic computer skills required
· Strong attention to detail
· Commitment to adhere to and enforce all safety and security procedures
Experience:
· 2 years’ warehouse experience
· Shipping and receiving inventory
· Forklift operations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
