Summary
Oversees production scheduling and materials planning to align with customer demand, inventory goals, and configuration requirements. Ensures timely availability of resources and smooth production flow.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage material requirements and production schedules of moderate complexity.
- Maintain accuracy of item master files and bills of materials.
- Monitor production progress, identify risks, and resolve delays.
- Verify material availability; initiate work orders or purchase requests as needed.
- Coordinate material flow within the facility and with suppliers.
- Schedule and expedite parts to meet delivery deadlines.
- Analyze inventory usage, waste, and scrap; recommend improvements for turnover.
- Support issue resolution related to shortages, order changes, cancellations, or shipments.
- Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, and Purchasing to maintain production continuity.
- Ensure configuration control and accurate data tracking.
- Apply continuous improvement practices to reduce cost and increase efficiency.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing, mentoring, and cross-functional projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
- 2 years’ experience in planning or production control.
- Proficiency with MRP systems, inventory management, and production planning tools.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Aerospace experience highly preferred.
- Ability to resolve moderately complex issues and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards.
