NEEDS TO HAVE AN ELECTRICAL BACKGROUND
Technical Customer Support – Laser Products
Serve as the liaison between customers and field service engineers, providing technical phone support for laser systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Issue and track RMAs; maintain accurate database records
- Coordinate repair scheduling for both warranty and non-warranty cases
- Support pre- and post-installation of mid to high-power laser systems
- Assist in developing training materials for internal and customer use
- Document failure analysis, including taking photos and writing reports
- Create and update work instructions, procedures, manuals, and training docs
Requirements:
- AS degree in electrical engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
- Background in lasers, electronics, or electrical systems preferred
- Customer service experience and ability to interpret technical documents/schematics
- Willingness to work after hours/on-call shifts
- Strong communication and computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Up to 20% travel, including some international
