Overview
We are looking for someone passionate about food and hospitality to come join our team. We are a scratch kitchen, change our menus seasonally, and love creativity. We have a very solid foundation and are looking for someone to help tighten things up as we look to pursue new opportunities as well as start to open Mondays. Must be reliable, hard-working, ready to hustle, teach, lead, and inspire! We are hoping to find someone who wants to come on board as Chef and grow into a bigger role as we expand our group.
Responsibilities.
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and high-quality dish execution.
- Oversee menu planning, recipe development, and food presentation to align with brand standards and guest expectations.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs.
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation standards across all kitchen operations.
- Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring timely preparation and flawless execution.
- Train and mentor team members in culinary techniques, safety procedures, and customer service excellence.
- Oversee shift management, including scheduling staff, monitoring performance, and maintaining a positive work environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in fine dining environments with strong culinary skills and creativity.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience leading kitchen teams in high-volume settings.
- Extensive background in food production, food handling, and food safety protocols.
- Experience managing inventory control systems and food cost management strategies.
- Knowledge of banquet operations, catering services, and restaurant management practices.
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication and team management skills.
- Familiarity with dietary department standards and special dietary accommodations.
