The Artcraft Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounting Operations Specialist to manage and optimize our Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting operations, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. What You’ll Do:
Accounts Payable:
- Process vendor invoices and payments (checks, ACH, etc.)
- Review and execute payment runs
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain vendor profiles and ensure tax compliance
- Manage corporate credit card transactions and expense reconciliations
- Leverage automation tools to streamline AP processes
Accounts Receivable:
- Issue and submit customer invoices via portals and email/mail
- Process customer payments, refunds, and credit card transactions
- Investigate and resolve account discrepancies and disputes
- Maintain accurate AR records and follow up on past due invoices
General Accounting & Operations:
- Prepare and post journal entries, including intercompany transactions
- Manage general ledger entries and reconciliations
- Support sales tax and external audits
- Prepare monthly revenue flash and departmental expense reports
- Assist with budget preparation and financial planning
Administrative & Support:
- Assist in inventory and supplies ordering
- Provide support to senior AR and AP leaders
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA candidates a plus)
- 1–3 years of general accounting experience (AP, AR, and general ledger preferred)
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP Business 1, QuickBooks, Hyperion, etc.) and Excel
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proven knowledge of GAAP, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, work independently, and manage multiple priorities
