JOB SUMMARY
This position's primary function is to hang, process, and inspect parts throughout the powder coat line, ensuring all products meet quality standards before and after the coating process, while packing finished goods, and performing physical tasks in a demanding environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Lifting, hanging, and unhanging parts on a motorized conveyor line, requiring the ability to lift up to 65 lbs.
- Working in high-temperature conditions, including summer heat reaching 110-115 degrees Fahrenheit
- Blowing out water from parts after the wash cycle and prior to the powder coat process
- Performing 100% visual inspection of all products before hanging on the powder coat line, identifying defects such as rust, missing welds, or other issues that may compromise the integrity of the powder coat process
- Performing 100% visual inspection of all finished products before placing on skids for packing
- Packing all finished products on skids according to job-specific requirements
- Completing all job tasks in a timely manner while meeting established production quotas
- Performing additional tasks as assigned by management

COMPETENCY OR POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to lift 65 lbs. repeatedly throughout the duration of the shift
- Ability to work in extreme heat conditions, including temperatures reaching 110-115 degrees Fahrenheit
- Forklift operation
- Strong attention to detail and quality control awareness
- Effective communication skills
- Time management skills and ability to meet production quotas
- Adequate math skills; including the ability to add, subtract, and multiply
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

This position requires the use of various equipment, including a forklift, hand dollies, measuring tools, a calculator, and various lift-assisting devices, as well as powder coat line machinery and related tools used throughout the coating and inspection process.

This position will work on the warehouse floor and lifting, climbing, standing, walking, and kneeling are required.
