JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for operating stamping presses, pre-setters, and other secondary metal processing equipment
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain a safe and efficient work environment
- Perform in process checks on parts and minimize scrap
- Maintaining area cleanliness
- Perform work in line with quality requirements and insure that parts are made to print
- Operate a forklift for daily operations
- Data entry on computer system
- Perform daily checks on machines
- Additional items as assigned by manager
PRINCIPAL CONTACTS INSIDE/OUTSIDE THE COMPANY
This position interacts with other manufacturing personnel, project managers, and area supervisor.
COMPETENCY OR POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledge of ability to operate various stamping presses and secondary equipment
- Have basic knowledge of blueprint reading
- Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
- Ability to be detail oriented
- Ability to be reliable and trustworthy
- Ability to work well in a team environment

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High School graduate or GED
- 1 year of experience operating stamping presses and secondary equipment
Salary : $35,442 - $46,832
