Full-time employment with The Arc of Greater Boone County includes the following BENEFITS:
- Health, dental, vision, and life insurance offered the first of the month following 60 days
- Health insurance premiums are covered at 100% for employees if they participate in the Wellness Program
- Dental and vision insurance premiums covered 60% for employees
- The Arc covers 50% of health, dental, and vision premiums for spouse and/or dependents
- $25,000 life insurance policy given to all full-time staff
- Health Savings Account offered
- The Arc matches contributions up to $500 for employees who have been employed for less than 2 years and up to $1000 for employees who have been employed for more than 2 years.
- Retirement Account offered with up to a 3% match.
- Vacation, sick, and personal time earned after 90 days

- Must be at least 18 years old
- Hold a valid driver’s license
- Have reliable transportation and valid car insurance
- Able to pass a background check
- Able to pass a drug screen
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds
Supported Living Direct Support Professional (DSP)
The Direct Support Professional (DSP) in the Supported Living program works directly with the people we support in the community or in their homes. The position can be full-time or part-time, depending on your availability and the needs of the people supported. The DSP will assist the people we serve with activities, community engagement, and developing their life skills.
