The Arc of Centre County is hiring **Full-Time and Part-Time Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)** to join our Community Programming teams, supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in their own homes and throughout the community.

This role is ideal for someone who wants **meaningful, relationship-driven work** while helping others live independently and stay connected to their community.

**What You'll Do**

As a DSP In Community Programming, You Will

• Support individuals **in their homes and community settings**
• Assist with **daily living skills** (cooking, hygiene, routines)
• Encourage **independence and personal goal achievement**
• Help individuals participate in **community activities and social engagement**
• Build **trusting, respectful relationships**
• Promote a **safe, healthy, and empowering environment**
  
  

**Transportation & Driving Expectations**

This role may include **transporting individuals in the community**. DSPs in our program:

• Use their **personal or agency vehicle** to transport individuals to activities, appointments, and outings
• Must have a **valid driver's license and reliable vehicle**
• Receive **mileage reimbursement for work-related travel**
