Our School Age Behavior Intervention Technician works under the close, ongoing supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Duties include (but not limited to):

Our School Age Behavior Intervention Technician works under the close, ongoing supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Duties include (but not limited to):
- Responsible for implementing behavioral interventions that help improve social, communication, and learning skills through positive reinforcement techniques.
- Coordinates with the Behavior Intervention Specialist and/or Coordinator of Behavior Services in the development of behavior support plans and programs with an emphasis on proactive strategies for the management of individuals with challenging behaviors
- Intervenes during individuals’ inappropriate and/ or potentially injurious behaviors in the least restrictive manner possible
Along with a bachelor’s degree (in Psychology or related course):
- 1 yr experience working with developmentally disabled population
- 2 yrs experience managing people w/ behavior problems in a school or professional setting
- First Aid Certification, CPR, and Strategies for Crisis Intervention and Prevention-Revised training (SCIP) must be taken as provided by the agency within 90 days of hire and must be maintained.
- 2 yrs experience working with developmentally disabled population

- Full Time Status (32.5 hours per week)
- $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
- Monday – Friday workweek
- No evening, night or holiday shifts
