3rd Shift HP Digital Press Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented 3rd Shift HP Digital Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role is essential in producing high-quality printed materials. The ideal candidate will have experience with digital printing technologies and a strong background in graphic design, color management, and quality control. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on precision, efficiency, and continuous improvement during overnight hours (11pm-7am)

Duties

• Operate HP digital press machinery to produce high-quality printed material according to specifications
• Set up, run and fix printing equipment, ensuring optimal color management and image quality
• Perform prepress tasks including layout design, typography adjustments, and proofing using Adobe Creative Suite
• Conduct quality control checks throughout the printing process to ensure consistency and adherence to standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to printing presses as needed.
• Maintain proper documentation of production runs and quality reports
• Assist with maintenance and minor repairs of digital printing equipment to minimize downtime
• Support the setup of print jobs involving layout design, color matching, and material handling such as forklift operation when necessary
• Follow safety protocols and ensure a clean work environment during the overnight shift

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating HP digital presses or similar digital printing equipment
• Strong knowledge of printing industry.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for prepress tasks.
• Familiarity with color management techniques and print.
• Background in graphic design or related field preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to printing machinery and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with quality control procedures in a manufacturing setting.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on precision during production processes.
• Ability to work independently during the night shift while maintaining safety standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
