Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound phone calls with subscribers, delivering a responsive, high-quality experience
- Manage escalated customer inquiries with professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail.
- Provide clear, accurate information about our publications, services, and account options.
- Track and document customer interactions to identify patterns and share actionable insights.
- Collaborate with editors, marketing, and product teams to stay informed on new offerings and evolving customer needs.
- Contribute to the customer knowledge base by documenting common issues and solutions.
- Support and mentor Tier I specialists by modeling best practices in communication and problem-solving.
- 1–2 years of experience in customer service or technical support
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented approach and the ability to stay composed under pressure.
- The drive to thrive in a fast-paced environment while working both independently and collaboratively.
- Eagerness to learn, grow, and be coached.
