The Commercial Lender will focus on developing new business relationships, structuring customized credit solutions, and managing an existing portfolio while maintaining strong asset quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a portfolio of commercial and middle-market lending relationships
- Originate commercial and industrial (C&I) and commercial real estate loan opportunities
- Structure and negotiate credit facilities including lines of credit, term loans, and real estate financing
- Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow projections to assess credit risk
- Prepare and present loan packages and recommendations to loan committee
- Monitor portfolio performance to ensure strong asset quality and regulatory compliance
- Cross-sell deposit and treasury management services to strengthen client relationships
- Participate in community engagement and business development activities
- Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding financing needs and opportunities
Required Qualifications:
- 3 years of commercial lending experience within a banking environment
- Demonstrated success in business development and portfolio growth
- Strong financial analysis and credit underwriting expertise
- Experience with C&I and commercial real estate lending structures
- Solid understanding of regulatory compliance and lending policies
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Established local business network preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred
Salary : $100,000 - $175,000
