Commercial & Agricultural Lender
Location: Central Illinois

As the bank continues to grow its commercial and agricultural portfolio, they are seeking an experienced lender who enjoys developing business, building lasting client relationships, and serving as a trusted advisor to local businesses and farm operations.

What You'll Do
- Develop and manage a portfolio of commercial and agricultural lending relationships.
- Originate new commercial and agricultural loans through business development and community involvement.
- Build relationships with business owners, producers, and agricultural operations throughout the market.
- Analyze financial statements, cash flow, collateral, and repayment capacity to structure sound credit solutions.
- Work closely with internal credit partners to present well-structured lending opportunities.
- Provide exceptional service while identifying opportunities to deepen customer relationships through additional bank products and services.
- Represent the bank within the community through networking, industry events, and local organizations.
What We're Looking For
- 5 years of commercial, agricultural, or combination commercial/ag lending experience.
- Demonstrated success developing and managing commercial lending relationships.
- Experience with agricultural lending, including operating lines, equipment financing, real estate, and production agriculture, is strongly preferred.
- Strong business development skills with the ability to cultivate new client relationships.
- Sound credit knowledge with the ability to understand financial statements and structure commercial lending transactions.
- A self-starter who enjoys being in the market, building relationships, and growing a portfolio.
