Psychiatric Medical Director

We are seeking a mission-driven Psychiatric Medical Director to provide visionary leadership at our dedicated behavioral health and substance use facility in Casa Grande, Arizona. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity for a physician committed to advancing integrated psychiatric care and supporting a high-performing clinical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee clinical operations and ensure excellence in patient care
- Lead, mentor, and support a multidisciplinary team of medical professionals
- Ensure regulatory compliance, including Title 36, detox protocols, and involuntary holds
- Participate in the development and oversight of individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct psychiatric evaluations and ongoing care
- Participate in phone-based on-call coverage
- Foster a positive, team-oriented culture grounded in quality and compassion
- Stay current through CME and professional development opportunities
Qualifications
- MD or DO with board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry
- Active DEA license
- Minimum 2 years of post-residency clinical practice
- 3 years of leadership or medical director experience preferred
- Strong understanding of Title 36, medical detox, and involuntary psychiatric care
- Exceptional communication, team leadership, and decision-making skills
- Passion for recovery-focused, trauma-informed care
