Position Overview
Adecco is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a fast-paced, team-oriented clinical environment in Green Bay, WI. This Intake Nurse role focuses on donor screenings, physical assessments, and eligibility determinations in a structured, consistent setting. It is ideal for LPNs seeking a steady workflow and collaborative environment without the physical demands of bedside care.
Schedule & Hours
- Full-time: Up to 40 hours per week
- Rotating schedule including open, mid, and close shifts
- Scheduling expectations:
- 5 days per week preferred
- Open to 4 days per week if needed
- Evening availability is required (weekday shifts)
Facility Hours of Operation:
- Sunday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Monday: 6:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Tuesday: 6:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Wednesday: 6:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Thursday: 6:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Friday: 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Weekend Requirements
- Rotational weekends (typically every 3rd weekend), may vary based on business needs
- Open to candidates with set weekend preferences (e.g., every Saturday or every Sunday)
- Morning availability required on weekends
- Weekend shifts may include Saturday, Sunday, or both depending on rotation
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct donor eligibility screenings and physical assessments
- Obtain vital signs, height, and weight
- Perform finger-stick testing (hematocrit and protein)
- Complete basic clinical assessment tasks
- Collaborate with a team of 5–8 nurses to ensure efficient clinic flow
Scope of Role (What You Won’t Do)
- No heavy lifting required
- No venipuncture required (optional cross-training available)
- No complex medication dosage calculations
Compensation
- $27.00 – $30.00/hour (based on experience)
