Adecco is assisting a client in hiring an Electronics Lab Technician in Palo Alto, CA. This role supports reliability and manufacturing testing for advanced electrical systems used in next-generation vehicles, including ADAS, telematics, infotainment, battery management, and ECU platforms.
In this position, you will work on custom automated test solutions that include software interfaces, firmware, data systems, and electromechanical hardware. You will collaborate with engineering teams to execute testing, analyze results, troubleshoot issues, and support system validation in lab and production environments.

Responsibilities for Electronics Lab Technician include but are not limited to:
- Operate software interfaces to run automated test equipment during hardware bring-up
- Set up, calibrate, and maintain thermal and vibration test chambers
- Use lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, power analyzers, and digital multimeters to validate system performance
- Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis on DUTs, test equipment, and wiring harness failures
- Perform circuit board rework including soldering and de-soldering of electronic components
- Support installation, commissioning, and integration of new test systems
- Document test results, failures, and findings clearly for engineering review
Candidates for Electronics Lab Technician must meet the following requirements to be considered:
- Technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience in electronics testing or lab environments
- 5 years of experience with automated test equipment (ATE) or industrial automation systems
- Ability to read electrical schematics, technical drawings, and manufacturer datasheets
- Experience using electrical lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and multimeters
- Strong soldering and circuit board rework skills
- Experience using power tools and handling lab instrumentation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (spreadsheets, documents, presentations)
- Ability to lift and move test equipment and hardware as needed
