Tarsco Bolted Tank, a TF Warren company, is seeking a Fabrication/Welding Supervisor to join our team. The successful person in this role will safely direct the department to ensure production and quality standards are met. Key results in this role include but are not limited to controlling costs, maintaining training records and performance evaluations, and maintaining safety record for the department. The ideal candidate is an organized, analytical, problem-solver with the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks.
Oversees and ensures the safety of our team members and work processes
Administers company policies and procedures
Responsible for continuous improvement and cost control of the fabrication department including scrap and rework improvements, controls cost of manufacturing process
Manages production and associate workflow schedules
Establishes and documents fabrication and welding processes in accordance with standard operating procedure
Identifies quality concerns and works on resolution to correct in fabrication and weld work processes
Ensures that training of associates is successfully and up to date
Sets departmental goals and performs associate evaluations accordingly
Performs root cause analysis with emphasis on eliminating problems through machine/welding/assembly process improvements including equipment/materials requirements
Serves as a key resource in development of capacity planning, production control and troubleshooting of production in fabrication and welding processes
Plans and implements welding policies and procedures in compliance with customer, local, state, and federal rules and regulations
Performs administrative duties to support the day-to-day departmental needs including but not limited to production, associate time and attendance, scheduling, etc.

Ability to work in an environment that is not climate controlled
Ability to lift, push, pull, carry up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis
Must be able to work overtime as needed
High School diploma or equivalent at minimum, preference to Bachelor's degree and/or trade school graduate in welding
3-5 years welding experience, with preference of TIG and MIG preferred
Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience required
Experience with weld symbols and drawings preferred
Ability to read and comprehend blueprints
Lean manufacturing experience and certifications preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70, $80,000.00 per year
