The Procurement Assistant Director oversees the University’s procurement operations, ensuring efficient, compliant, and cost-effective purchasing across all departments. This role manages state and system reporting requirements, leads sourcing and negotiation efforts, supervises procurement staff, and maintains the University’s e-Procurement environment, including supplier enablement and punch-out catalog management. The Procurement Assistant Director is responsible for developing staff, administering the P-Card program, ensuring adherence to federal, state, TSUS, and University policies, and providing campus-wide training and guidance. The position plays a key role in optimizing procurement processes, enhancing customer service, and supporting the University’s goals.
